1. Define the greenhouse structure

Share the tunnel or greenhouse type, bay dimensions, film width, fixing method and wind exposure. Correct finished width and folding are essential for installation and transport.

2. Choose thickness for the actual duty

Thickness influences strength and material consumption, but resin formulation, extrusion consistency and installation also matter. Compare thickness tolerance and test method, not only a nominal micron value.

3. Specify the required functions

High transmission supports light-demanding crops, diffusion helps distribute light through the canopy, and anti-drip or anti-fog functions help manage condensation. These functions should be confirmed on the final technical specification.

4. Discuss local UV and temperature

Film life varies by latitude, altitude, temperature, agrochemical exposure and installation. Give the destination and expected service period so the suitable UV package can be discussed.

A useful enquiry checklist

Send greenhouse dimensions, film width and length, thickness, crop, destination, expected life, required light and condensation functions, quantity, printing and packing requirements.
